Tardiness - Coming in late distracts the other students. If your child is late - parents and/or sitters, please have the child in proper attire (including shoes) BEFORE he/she quietly enters the classroom. This is no time for parents and/or sitters to enter the studio. Teaching our dancers promptness is important to us as well as respectability to other students and their teachers.
Wear regular shoes to and from studio, as well as to and from the gym. Clean dance footwear helps keep the floor clean, and helps make dancing shoes lasts longer.
Note: The studio door will be locked 10 minutes into class time. Please understand the importance of having your child to class on time. Late comers interrupt the teachers and the students, especially the little ones.

Due to the limited number of parking spaces at the gym and studio, Powell-Moïse will use a carpool process. We are going to try to make this easy for everyone. The safety of our children is always first!
Gym Drop Off and Pick Up - One-Way Traffic Only
The entrance to the gym parking lot will be the lane directly behind Billy Heroman’s. You will continue to the back of this lane and turn into the back of the gym parking lot. You will continue along the side of the gym building where you will park one behind the other to the end of the gym wall. At that time a second line can be formed by pulling up to the exit of the parking lot. We can not block Horace Street. After class is over, a teacher and the children will walk outside and stand under the covered porch. The child will enter or exit on the passenger side. Whether dropping off or picking up a child, you will form the carpool lines.
All traffic will make a right turn out of the gym parking lot. Please limit your speed to 5 mph. No dropping off children on Horace Street in front of the gym.
Parking At The Gym - One-Way Traffic Only
If you choose to park at the gym and not enter the carpool line, you must enter the same way as the carpool line and turn left into parking space. Be aware, if you do choose to park at the gym, the carpool line could possibly block you in, but hopefully someone will let you into the line to exit.
You are able to park at Zeeland Street Market, in front of the studio, and across the street at the gym. If you choose to park at the gym, the rules are printed above.
Do not park in the street.
Do not park in any of our neighbors’ driveways or yards.
Do not park at Zanella’s Wax Bar, Garden District Coffee Shop, or Billy Heroman’s.
Do not leave your children unattended in a car.
Do not leave your car unattended and running in the studio driveway while you run in to drop off your dancer. This driveway is a shared driveway for Powell-Moïse and the Coffee Shop.
Thanks in advance for your cooperation!
