Teacher/Choreographer

Kelly Kimbrell grew up dancing at Powell Moise starting at 3 years old. She trained here for 15 years and was on the competition team for 8 years, where she won numerous titles, scholarships, and competitions including Teen Miss Dance of Dixie 2016, Miss DMI 2018, Steven Body Memorial Scholarship, Margaret Powell Memorial Scholarship, and National Miss Platinum Dance of America in 2017. While in High School Kelly also danced on Catholic High School Bruinettes from 2016-2019. Now, Kelly is a Senior in College at LSU pressuring a degree in Construction Management from the College of Engineering. She has been on LSU Golden Girls for 4 years, 2019-Current. Kelly has taught at Powell Moise for 3 summers and now is excited to be teaching during the season!
